1. Acceptance
By using HomeServicesCo (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What we do
HomeServicesCo is a lead-matching service that connects homeowners with licensed home-improvement contractors. We do not perform contracting work ourselves, and we are not responsible for the work performed by any contractor matched to you.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant the quality, licensure, insurance, fitness, or pricing of any contractor. We strongly encourage you to verify license, insurance, references, and warranty terms with each contractor before signing any agreement. See our TCPA Disclosure for the checklist we provide in your confirmation email.
4. No fee to homeowners
The Service is free to homeowners. Our marketing partners pay us when we route their leads. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of receiving any goods or services from any contractor.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a homeowner (or authorized agent of a homeowner) to submit a quote request.
6. Acceptable use
You may not submit false information, automate submissions, or use the Service in any way that violates law or these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeServicesCo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service or any contractor matched through it.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify HomeServicesCo against any claims arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
